Haha, it's actually that bright believe it or not. I simply just bleached my hair and used/mixed Special Effects hair dye and slapped that on. Special Effects = epic win. ^_^

If it got your hair that way Special Effects must be Godly. XD I've had purple hair before and it was murder trying to keep it from fading. >.>; Conditioner galore? Im getting ready to dye meh head red this weekend. Hopefully my hands don't turn red... xP
